Honored Art Worker, laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Kazakhstan, academician of arts of Russia, Czech Republic, Kyrgyzstan Yerbolat Tulepbai presented an exhibition of his works under the title “Five Days”.

On it the viewer can see more than sixty works. The master painstakingly worked on the paintings for 25 years. The main heroine of the paintings is a woman, depicted in different hypostases: daughter, mother, wife, mother-in-law. The exposition was dedicated to the 100th anniversary of his mother Uldarapai, who was a respected and honored folk healer in the south of Kazakhstan.

Minister of Culture and Sports of Kazakhstan Arystanbek Mukhamediuly, Minister of Health of Kazakhstan Yelzhan Birtanov, deputies of Majilis of the Parliament, art critics came to the opening of the exhibition.

In the bright works of the artist - lightness, airiness, transparency, something untold, hidden. His paintings “Hope”, “Divorce”, “Daughter-in-law” and others are permeated with thoughts, reflection, imbued with a powerful energy of the author. In each of his work - the search for the meaning of life.

- Shortly before the passing of my mother, then she was 85 years old, we had a conversation. I asked her: “Mom, has your life gone by quickly?”. She replied, “Balam, my life passed like five days. The first day I remember myself as a girl. The second day when I got married. The third day, when I gave birth. Afterward, on my fourth day, I remember myself as a mature woman. And my fifth day now, when I talk to you,” recalls the artist.

Yerbolat Tulepbai's paintings are rich in metaphors and open up a whole world to the viewer.

- Usually we do not notice the beauty around us, do not appreciate it. 
Then art comes to our aid.It is art that fills us.That is why many of my works are connected with those who put and fill us with beauty - with the female beginning.I would like to note that today's exhibition is dedicated to my mother and all women of our country, girls, mothers, sisters, grandmothers,” he said.

Member of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Birganym Aitimova believes that Yerbolat Tolepbai is an artist with a philosophical view.
- I am familiar with his magnificent works.His paintings reflect his view, his understanding and, finally, his attitude to women in general. 
It is not by chance that he dedicated today's exhibition to the 100th anniversary of his mother. He is a wonderful husband, father, friend, associate, look how many admirers of his art and friends came today to be happy for him and support him,” she said.

Yerbolat Tulepbai is one of Kazakhstan's most important contemporary artists, whose work is known both in the country and abroad.
