On Abay Square in front of the Palace of the Republic during the celebration of the City Day, Akim Erbolat Dosayev presented special insignia to new honorary citizens of Almaty, Orda.kz reports with reference to the Akimat of the metropolis.

On the third Sunday of September Almaty celebrates City Day on a large scale. Among other festive events, this day honored citizens who contributed to the development of the megacity. Including the laureate of the State Prize of Kazakhstan Yerbolat Tolepbai.
